If so, you could be the talent we’re looking for in this role. **Job Description** -------------------------- As a Line Cook A, you will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking a variety of dishes—including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts—in our restaurant. Additional responsibilities include ordering supplies, maintaining records and accounts, pricing menu items, and menu planning. **Job Functions and Responsibilities** -------------------------------------------- * Prepare various dishes, such as soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts. * Ensure all ingredients for each dish are fresh, high-quality, and properly stored. * Place supply orders to maintain an efficient kitchen operation. * Maintain accurate records and accounts related to kitchen operations and food administration. * Assist in menu planning, ensuring a balance between quality and guest satisfaction. * Train and supervise the commercial support team to uphold the highest standards in the workplace. * Analyze and resolve ongoing kitchen issues, advising on improvements when necessary. * Complete any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned. **Work Experience** ----------------------- * Functions as a work supervisor for a commercial support team. * May spend part of the time performing the work being supervised. * Accountable for team outcomes. * Works within established precedents and practices. * Analyzes information to resolve ongoing problems. * Has 5 or more years of work experience. **Competencies** ---------------- Leadership Problem Solving Teamwork and Collaboration Accountability Business Acumen Advocating for Guest Needs Self-Development Impact Interpersonal Skills Functional Job Knowledge**Education** ------------- * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * A combination of education and experience will be considered. **Certifications** ------------------- * Certifications may be required or preferred.
