




* Creates daily task lists for maintenance staff, conducts inspections of hotel areas to ensure they are in order, notes new issues observed, and immediately assigns them for follow-up. * Monitors progress of assigned tasks to ensure they are performed correctly and to prevent potential waste of materials and labor hours. * Assists in developing short-term corrective maintenance plans. * Prepares and maintains stock inventories of work tools and necessary supplies for the department. * Maintains the swimming pool in good condition. * Inspects and performs maintenance on guest rooms. * Submits monthly reports to hotel management and administration. * Follows up on tasks arising from special guest requests. * Monitors and maintains water hardness levels. * Participates in, and occasionally leads, the joint safety and hygiene committee. * Keeps updated logs of utility readings (electricity, water, gas). * Ensures building facilities are fully operational every day. * Participates in executive and operational committee meetings, and prepares department work schedules. * Ensures staff are informed about deficiencies and how to apply corrective actions for improvement. * Promotes coordination and effective communication between the department and other departments involved in service delivery.
