Palladium Hotel Group is seeking a **Room Service Order Taker** at **TRS Yucatan.** **MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION** * Ensure the work area is clean and organized at the start of each shift. * Update the department’s bulletin board with the list of special guests, club members, and resort executives. * Verify that telephone lines are functioning properly. * Answer guest calls from their rooms using the department’s standardized greeting and take breakfast, lunch, or dinner orders. * Relay food orders to the kitchen for preparation, then hand them over to the waiter for delivery to guest rooms. * Safeguard order slips returned by the waiter, signed by the guest upon service completion. * Make courtesy follow-up calls 30 minutes after service delivery to gather guest feedback and/or suggestions, and ask whether dirty dishes may be collected. * Accurately record all services delivered to rooms in a log titled “Service Delivery Control Log.” * Verify that TripAdvisor cards are available in the department. * Maintain incident logs documenting complaints, issues, or noteworthy events received during the shift, to inform the immediate supervisor and ensure appropriate follow-up. * Manually compile a list of departmental supply shortages. * Confirm that radios are functioning properly. * Maintain a wine sales log and submit a copy of this log along with generated order slips to Reception. * Record monthly in-room sales in a dedicated register for future clarification, if required. **In exchange for your commitment and motivation, we offer:** * Genuine opportunities for professional development within an internationally expanding company. * An excellent working environment. * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements. * Continuous training and enriching learning experiences. **Requirements:** --------------- **Experience and Technical Knowledge:** * Minimum 6 months to 2 years’ experience as a telephone operator in the hospitality industry (guest/customer service) or in public relations (telephone-based customer service). * Proficiency in the PINAP system and guest service procedures. * Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
