Address guest service needs. Exchange information with other employees via electronic devices. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others. Communicate with other members of the Information Systems (IS) team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or matters related to computer systems, software, internet access, hardware, and peripheral equipment. Refer major issues or defective products to vendors or technicians. Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting problems or terminating the program. Enter commands and activate controls on computers and peripheral equipment. Inspect, evaluate, and diagnose computer equipment and systems. Maintain an inventory of all technological devices. Maintain computer networks, server support system(s), and compatible software. Provide network support for communications. Maintain and update hardware and software, as well as the website’s technical architecture related to hardware connectivity and telecommunications. Perform system backups. Provide end-user support. Administer user accounts, including installation, uninstallation, and password resets to ensure reliability and proper usage. Install, configure, and modify workstations. Modify workstations, including cabling, desktop computers, laptops, docking stations, and printers. Read technical manuals, consult with users, or perform computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve issues or provide technical assistance and support. Protect all backup copies and computer and telephone rooms. Educate users on procedures for safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate. Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience. Supervisory Experience: Supervisory experience is not required.
