The project involves supporting documentation verification, tracking of certificates and administrative procedures, inventory control, management of internal sites and web pages, as well as assistance with labor-related formalities. The objective is to improve operational efficiency, support employees, organize staff events and recognition activities, and provide general operational support. **Challenges for the Student** * Adapting to an operational environment involving multiple departments. * Learning and applying internal processes related to procurement, payments, and document control. * Managing administrative and operational tasks simultaneously. * Understanding the dynamics of construction sites and communication among suppliers, supervisors, and internal departments. * Working under strict safety and administrative record-keeping guidelines. **Key Responsibilities and Activities** * Modifying, preparing, and signing employment contracts. * Collecting and verifying employee documents for personnel files. * Tracking employee birthdays and managing internal communications. * Managing and tracking administrative procedures such as FONACOT and INFONAVIT. * Preparing and delivering employment certificates. * Entering medical leave records into the relevant systems. * Completing ST-7 forms. * Sharing and distributing payroll information to authorized personnel. * Tracking cafeteria cards (requests, replacements, or activations). * Organizing internal events, including activities such as CEMEX Pride. * Managing expense receipts and tracking expenditures. * Generating DHL shipping labels for document deliveries. * Preparing medical leave reports and incident tracking records. * Updating and tracking personnel files. **Deliverables Demonstrating the Intern’s Learning** * Correctly modified, signed, and archived employment contracts. * Complete and up-to-date personnel files with required documentation. * A birthday-tracking report or calendar for staff. * Evidence of processed administrative procedures (reference numbers, acknowledgments, completed forms). * Prepared and delivered employment certificates. * Entered medical leave records and associated documentation. * Correctly completed and submitted ST-7 forms. * Controlled payroll distribution records. * Record of employee cafeteria cards. * Photographic evidence and event organization reports. * Timely recorded and archived expense receipts. * Generated DHL shipping labels and shipment tracking records. * Consolidated medical leave report. * Personnel files organized and digitized according to internal guidelines. **Required Skills, Competencies, and/or Knowledge** * Basic understanding of labor and administrative processes. * Experience handling documentation and managing personnel files. * Analytical ability and attention to detail. * Effective oral and written communication skills. * Organizational, planning, and time-management skills. * Proficiency with office tools (Excel, PDF, email, internal platforms). * Confidentiality and professional ethics when handling sensitive information. * Service-oriented attitude and willingness to support employees. * Teamwork and coordination across various departments. * Basic problem-solving skills and proactive follow-up capability. * Basic knowledge of labor regulations (IMSS, ST-7, medical leaves, institutional procedures). * Adaptability to administrative environments. **CEMEX Diversity and Inclusion** At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and conduct our operations.
