At **Core Business**, we are looking for a **Odoo/Python Backend Developer** to participate in an **Odoo.sh** implementation project for a real estate company. The project aims to centralize commercial, administrative, and operational processes using Odoo, with a strong focus on custom development, integrations, dashboards, and migration from an internally developed legacy system. This position is ideal for someone with prior experience in Odoo, Python, and backend development who can work in a structured manner, collaborate with functional users, and address technical requirements within a real-world implementation project. **Position Details** * **Duration:** Temporary project of 4–5 months * **Work Mode:** Hybrid * **Preferred Location:** Cancún or Playa del Carmen * **Employment Type:** Contract for Services * **Payment:** Bi-weekly * **Monthly Fee:** $20,000 MXN \+ VAT * **Working Hours:** Full-time (Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:00; Saturdays, 10:00–14:00) **Main Responsibilities** * Customize views, forms, and workflows within Odoo. * Develop backend logic in Python. * Create custom reports, dashboards, and interfaces. * Support integrations between Odoo and external systems. * Participate in data migration from a legacy system. * Collaborate with functional users to understand requirements. * Resolve technical issues during implementation. * Document configurations, developments, and integrations performed. **Requirements** * Minimum verifiable 2 years of backend development experience. * Mandatory Odoo development experience. * Proficiency in Python. * PostgreSQL knowledge. * Experience with XML in Odoo. * Experience consuming or developing REST APIs. * Git proficiency. * Experience working with Odoo.sh. * General knowledge of cloud environments. * Ability to leverage LLMs and AI agents to accelerate development, debugging, and technical documentation. **Desirable** * Experience in ERP implementation projects. * Experience in data migrations. * Knowledge of commercial processes, collections, invoicing, or accounting. * Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions. **Benefits** * Involvement in a real Odoo implementation project for the real estate sector. * Training on system architecture and business model. * Professional growth. * Hybrid work mode. * Opportunity to participate in future Core Business projects.
