The Hydraulic Modeler is responsible for designing and simulating hydraulic systems using specialized software. This role involves creating accurate models that assist in the planning and execution of water-related projects, such as dams, channels, and drainage systems. Proficiency in specialized software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools. Understanding of the design principles and operation of hydraulic systems (hydraulic, sanitary, fire protection, gas, stormwater). Ability to perform basic calculations. **Education and certifications:** Degree in architecture, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or related fields. **Tasks to be performed** **3D modeling** Design and develop detailed three-dimensional models of HVAC systems using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or BIM tools. **Interdisciplinary coordination:** Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that the hydraulic system designs are compatible with the rest of the project. **Technical documentation:** Generate drawings, schematics, and construction details. Technical review in collaboration with the designer. **Model updating and revision:** Incorporate design changes according to reviews or project modifications. **Regulatory compliance:** Ensure that models comply with local and international codes and standards. **Conflict detection:** Identify and resolve clashes between disciplines within the BIM model. **Quantity takeoff generation:** Assist in preparing item catalogs, quantity takeoffs, budgets, and cost estimates based on the model.
