




Job Summary: This role involves loading, securing, and transporting animal feed, ensuring timely deliveries, product integrity, and adherence to biosecurity protocols. Key Responsibilities: 1. Meticulous loading and securing of the product at the plant. 2. Responsible delivery and unloading at the destination, including customer service. 3. Product Loading and Securing (At Plant) Manual bag loading: Load bags of balanced animal feed (typically weighing between 50 kg and 25 kg each) onto the truck in an orderly manner. Cargo verification: Cross-check against the delivery order to confirm the correct feed type (for poultry, swine, cattle, etc.), tonnage, and number of bags. Cargo securing: Properly stack and secure the load to prevent bags from shifting, tearing, or getting wet during transit. Safely and efficiently operate the 10-ton vehicle along assigned routes. Itinerary compliance: Adhere to scheduled delivery times and report any delays due to traffic, weather, or roadblocks. Vehicle monitoring: Check oil, coolant, tire, and brake levels before departure to ensure the vehicle does not break down on the highway. Delivery and Unloading (At Destination / Farms / Distributors) Unloading maneuver: Deliver and unload feed bags into customers’ warehouses, veterinary clinics, or directly into farm feeders/warehouses. Delivery inspection: Ensure the product arrives clean, dry, and with fully sealed packaging. Customer service: Provide courteous service to buyers and address basic inquiries regarding cargo delivery. Documentary and Administrative Control Signature and stamp management: Collect recipient signatures and official stamps on invoices or delivery notes. Cash collection (if applicable): Occasionally safeguard and deliver cash or checks if the customer pays upon delivery. Trip logbook: Record driving times, rest periods, toll expenses, and fuel refills. Hygiene and Biosecurity (Critical in this sector) Vehicle cleaning: Maintain a clean cabin and cargo box, free of pests (rodents or insects) that could contaminate animal feed. Biosecurity compliance: Follow sanitary protocols when entering farms (e.g., driving the truck through disinfection arches or over sanitary mats) to prevent disease transmission between livestock or poultry zones.
