DESCRIPTION Grupo Bafar, a leading company in the food industry, is looking for a Cashier to join our team at La Pastora, located in Chignahuapan, Puebla. We are seeking a proactive, responsible individual with an excellent service attitude to handle checkout and customer service duties. If you have experience handling cash and card transactions, and are interested in merchandise arrangement, this opportunity is for you. This position is essential to ensuring a satisfactory shopping experience for our customers, guaranteeing transaction accuracy and proper product presentation. **Main Responsibilities:** * Process customer payments using cash and various credit and debit card payment methods. * Accurately and responsibly manage the assigned cash float, ensuring correct end-of-shift reconciliation. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and professionally handling complaints. * Ensure proper display and organization of merchandise at sales points, following company guidelines to maintain an orderly and attractive environment. * Collaborate with the team in receiving and verifying shipments, as well as conducting periodic inventory counts. * Keep the cashier area and surrounding spaces clean and organized. * Comply with all policies and procedures established by Grupo Bafar. * Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. **Requirements:** * At least 2 years of verifiable experience as a cashier or in similar roles. * Solid experience in cash handling and cash register reconciliation. * Knowledge and experience with point-of-sale (POS) terminals and card payment processing. * Ability to organize and display merchandise effectively. * Service-oriented attitude and excellent customer interaction skills. * Ability to work under pressure and in high-demand environments. * Responsibility, honesty, and reliability. * Availability to work in Chignahuapan, Puebla. **Desired but not required:** * Basic inventory management knowledge. * Experience in retail or food industries. * Fast learning ability. * Proactivity and ambition for growth.
