




Position Profile – Laboratory Manager (Quality, Innovation and Development) Job Summary Responsible for the comprehensive management of the company's laboratory, ensuring compliance with quality standards for raw materials and finished products, as well as leading innovation and technical development projects that drive business competitiveness and growth. ⸻ Job Objective Ensure reliability of laboratory results, quality assurance in processes and products, and the development of new products or technical improvements aligned with customer requirements and commercial strategy. ⸻ Main Responsibilities Lead quality control and innovation laboratory activities. Design and validate new product formulations or improvements. Implement testing methods, specifications, and laboratory standards. Ensure release of raw materials and finished products according to specifications. Manage technical claims through root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D). Coordinate pilot tests and scale-up from laboratory to production. Establish and maintain analytical equipment, methods, and procedures. Perform and supervise laboratory records and documentation compliance (technical sheets, COA, MSDS). Coordinate raw material and supplier homologation. Maintain the ISO 9001 quality management system. Train operational and technical staff on quality and process topics. Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards in the laboratory. Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and Sales to meet technical requirements. Preparation of PPAP and IMDS. Job Requirements Education Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemical Engineering, or related field. Experience 2\-4 years in quality control or technical development laboratory (minimum 1 year in leadership role). Desirable Industries Industrial chemicals, textiles, automotive, coatings, detergents, or manufacturing. Knowledge Analytical methodologies, quality control, formulation, failure analysis, scale-up, ISO 9001, automotive regulations. Software Office, laboratory equipment operation, ERP (desirable). Language Technical English (desirable).
