The Teller is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the execution of branch activities, including the daily provision of services that involve customer interaction and transaction processing, in coordination with the Customer Service function. The overall objective is to deliver high-quality customer service and support the branch in generating revenue by offering optimal solutions. **Responsibilities:** * Serve as the first point of contact for Citi customers and provide a positive first impression through effective and friendly customer service. * Conduct efficient and accurate banking transactions, including handling branch cash, processing incoming/outgoing cash deposits, and maintaining the branch vault’s cash inventory. * Identify cross-selling opportunities for new products and services based on customers’ financial goals. * Educate customers on Citi’s digital and self-service offerings. * Comply with bank policies, operational controls, and regulatory procedures to ensure customer safety and protection of bank assets. * Ensure all customer needs are met and customer issues/concerns are effectively managed; escalate issues to higher levels when necessary. * Maintain strong knowledge of customer accounts and of new products and services offered. **Qualifications:** * Prior relevant experience preferred. * Proven experience in sales and customer service. * Experience handling cash. * Effective communication and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work well in a team environment. **Education:** * High school diploma or equivalent. BANCO AZTECA XALAPA IS SEEKING A BANK TELLER Job Objective Ensure customers receive excellent service and attention by promptly, accurately, and efficiently executing customer-requested transactions. Key Responsibilities Serve customers and users at the teller counter and mobile cash unit quickly, courteously, and error-free. * Conduct all transactions with integrity and strict adherence to banking regulations and company values. * Comply with Bank of Mexico regulations, BAZ’s cash-handling policies and procedures, and the 7S methodology. * Safeguard cash in the secure zone and strictly follow bunker security protocols. * Achieve daily cash-handling productivity targets and implement the anti-queue plan. * Deliver courteous and friendly service to encourage customer return and referrals.
