**Senior Data Engineer** We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work with our client, an international company focused on technology, data, and business analytics. The initial mission will be a four-week intensive technical analysis phase, with a high likelihood of extension into a remediation and implementation phase. This role is 100% remote and can be performed from any location, provided the candidate is available to work between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM (CT). The position requires strong problem-solving skills, root cause analysis, and data system optimization. The role involves working with relational databases, improving SQL queries, designing and tuning ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality, and establishing monitoring and alerting mechanisms. It also requires clearly communicating technical findings to non-technical teams and collaborating across various business areas. **Minimum Requirements:** \- More than 5 years of experience in data engineering or database architecture. \- Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database optimization (indexing, query performance). \- Experience with ETL pipelines and data quality frameworks. \- Proven track record of performing systematic root cause analysis. \- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI preferred). \- Experience implementing data monitoring and alerting systems. \- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. **Desirable:** \- Experience with the Azure data stack. \- Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries. \- Experience with marketing data or campaigns. \- Experience building centralized data layers or scalable APIs.
