Focus on cost reduction and process optimization. **Job Description** Hidalguense-origin company located in the Mineral de la Reforma industrial zone, operating for 17 years in the automotive sector, specializing in wholesale distribution of engine parts; single branch. \*We are not manufacturers, only distributors. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree or Engineer in Commerce or International Business, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 4 years’ experience as **PURCHASING MANAGER**, PREFERRED EXPERIENCE IN AFTERMARKET. * **Advanced English mandatory.** * Advanced Excel \- BI, Dashboard. * **ADDITIONAL STUDIES FOCUSED ON THIS AREA WILL BE A PLUS.** **Skills:** * Teamwork * Leadership * Dynamism * Responsibility * Highly organized with controls and follow-ups * Proactivity * Discretion and confidentiality * Effective communication * Must possess a valid driver’s license **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Develop procurement strategies and policies to ensure timely availability of required products and materials. * Generate and analyze domestic and international purchase orders (POs). * Negotiate with domestic and international suppliers. * Prepare reports and/or presentations for management. * Monitor contracts and commercial proposals. * Supervise inventory integrity, establishing necessary parameters to meet customer demand. * Supervise and manage the purchasing team, ensuring high performance and effective coordination between purchasing and warehousing. * Monitor and control procurement documentation. * Maintain constant communication with departments involved in the procurement process. * Monitor supplier performance. * Coordinate with relevant departments regarding goods receipt, verifying that deliveries match purchase orders. * Efficient and professional conflict management. * Immediate resolution of backordered items affecting service levels. * Cost reduction. * Accompany and monitor shipments. * Define measurable strategies and objectives for the team. * Establish annual strategies for inventory reduction planning. * Desirable but not mandatory: knowledge of **Aspel and Odoo** systems. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (including meal break); Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term contract.
