




1. Technical and Clinical Procedures: Preparation, priming, and verification of the hemodialysis machine and extracorporeal circuit before each session. Vascular access management: Performing patient connection and disconnection (arteriovenous fistulas, grafts, or central catheters) following strict aseptic techniques. Programming dialysis prescriptions according to medical orders (time, ultrafiltration, flow rate, etc.). Continuous monitoring of vital signs and machine parameters during the session. 2. Patient Care: Identify and respond to intradialytic complications (hypotension, cramps, allergic reactions, imbalances). Perform catheter dressings and assess insertion sites. Provide health education to patients and families regarding vascular access care, diet, fluid restrictions, and medications. 3. Administrative and Regulatory Tasks: Accurate and complete documentation in nursing records and clinical charts. Management and control of supplies and consumable materials. Compliance with regulations on Biologically Hazardous Infectious Waste (BHIW).
