Focus on continuous improvement and sustainability **MARSACOT PACHUCA INVITES YOU TO JOIN ITS TEAM AS SANITARY LANDFILL SUPERVISOR.** **Objective:** Plan, direct, and control the integrated operation of the sanitary landfill, ensuring proper final disposal of urban solid waste, compliance with current environmental regulations, and operational efficiency—optimizing resources and ensuring service continuity. **Functions and Responsibilities** **Sanitary Landfill Operations** \* Supervise daily operations: waste reception, compaction, daily cover, and disposal. \* Ensure proper handling of leachate, biogas, and environmental controls. \* Guarantee optimal utilization of the site's design life. \* Coordinate the use and maintenance of heavy machinery (compactors, bulldozers, etc.). **Operational Planning and Control** \* Design operational, expansion, and new cell opening plans for the sanitary landfill. \* Prepare periodic operational, cost, and incident reports. \* Manage budgets and optimize resources. **Personnel Management** \* Lead, train, and supervise operational staff. **Regulatory and Environmental Compliance** \* Ensure compliance with applicable environmental NOMs and regulations. \* Coordinate environmental audits and official inspections. \* Manage permits, licenses, and regulatory reporting. \* Prevent risks to health and the environment. **Continuous Improvement and Strategy** \* Implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency. \* Identify operational risks and propose solutions. \* Participate in innovation and sustainability projects. \* Align operations with the company’s strategic objectives. **Position Profile** ***Education*** \* Environmental, Civil, Industrial Engineering or related field (mandatory) \* Preferred: specialization in waste management or environmental management Experience \* 1–3 years in sanitary landfill operations or waste management \* Experience managing operational personnel \* Experience with heavy machinery and final disposal processes Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $5,990.00 – $6,000.00 per week Work Location: On-site employment
