Functions and Responsibilities: Excavator Operation: Operate the excavator to dig trenches, holes, foundations, and load and transport materials. Maintenance: Conduct pre\-operational inspections, perform routine maintenance (such as checking fluid levels, refueling, cleaning), and report malfunctions to the supervisor. Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, use personal protective equipment, and check for hazards or obstructions in the work area. Coordination: Communicate with other workers and coordinate machine movements by following hand or audio signals. Record Keeping: Maintain records of equipment and material usage, as well as any issues encountered. Earthmoving: Perform excavation for trenches, land leveling, and loading materials onto transport vehicles. Support: Assist with other construction or project\-related tasks as needed. Planning: Plan and coordinate activities with the supervisor, setting priorities. Required Skills: Heavy Machinery Operation: Proficiency in operating excavators and related equipment.
