





A leading international oil and gas company is seeking to hire a **Simultaneous Operations Authority (SOA)** for its team. This role is responsible for **coordinating and supervising all simultaneous operations (SIMOPS)** at the facility, ensuring they are carried out under the highest standards of **safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance**. The position is key to ensuring operational continuity and the integrity of personnel, assets, and the environment during drilling, production, construction, and maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate the execution of simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) at the facility, prioritizing safety and efficiency. * Participate in risk assessments and verify the implementation of preventive measures. * Make immediate decisions during emergencies and implement the corresponding Emergency Response Plans. * Authorize the start or suspension of operations, including general production shutdowns in case of emergency. * Issue work permits according to the corporate system (PTW) and ensure communication with drilling and completion departments. * Supervise compliance with regulations, procedures, and maintenance of critical systems. * Ensure emergency drills are conducted and maintain an updated activity log. * Lead induction, planning, and operational review meetings. Requirements * **Education:** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical or related field). * **Experience:** Minimum of **10 years** in the oil and gas industry, with direct experience in operations and production. * **Technical knowledge:** * Coordination of simultaneous operations (SIMOPS). * Risk management and emergency response. * Process safety and fire control. * Work permit systems (PTW). * Advanced English proficiency. * **Personal skills:** Leadership, decision-making under pressure, multicultural teamwork, effective communication, and operational flexibility.
