Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Lathe/Milling Machine Operator to manufacture parts for the industrial and mining sectors, performing various machining operations. Key Highlights: 1. Reading blueprints and operating measurement equipment At WITAS, we provide practical solutions, support for monitoring our drilling steels, and supply components, spare parts, and consumables for Mining and Exploration departments. We are seeking an experienced **Lathe / Milling Machine Operator**. The candidate must be competent in safely operating machinery and capable of understanding part specifications required for machining. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Manufacturing parts for the industrial and mining sectors. * Performing various machining operations, including threading, keyway cutting, drilling, tapping, etc. * Understanding the specifications of the task at hand and the desired outcome. * Inspecting and measuring finished products, comparing them against given specifications to determine whether the task has been completed correctly. * Reading blueprints. * Operating measurement equipment. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Responsible for complying with all safety guidelines. * Detail-oriented, with sound judgment regarding machining finish and quality. * Minimum 4 years of verifiable experience as a lathe operator and milling machine operator. * Proficiency in using conventional tools and machinery, as well as measurement instruments. * Strong mechanical aptitude and solid mathematical knowledge. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure. * High school diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent; certification or diploma in machining or a related discipline is preferred. : Employment Type: Full-time Work Location: On-site
