Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy outcomes for our customers. **Purpose and Impact of the Role** ----------------------------------- The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of technicians and support staff to coordinate the repair and maintenance of machinery, vehicles, equipment and buildings, and will be responsible for site infrastructure and appearance. In this role, you will focus on tactical and operational activities, aligning and implementing reliability practices and programs by leading all aspects of maintenance, repair, office functions, hospitality services, project planning, and staying current with industry best practices. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------- * Lead and engage employees responsible for the operation, monitoring, repair and maintenance of equipment, machinery and buildings at the site. * Collaborate with senior team members to identify opportunities to improve reliability and address acceptable risk tolerance levels for equipment. * Participate in project planning, cost estimation, tracking and justification of payback to ensure budget compliance. * Plan and prioritize work orders, scheduling general repairs and maintenance to minimize production downtime and disruptions. * Champion personal safety and serve as a safety mentor for the team. * Ensure critical tasks, management best practices, work instructions and procedures, audits, preventive maintenance, contractor checklists are kept up to date and that training/documentation is completed. * Ensure contractor and vendor tasks are performed in accordance with corporate safety culture and routines. * Other assigned duties * Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for direct reports. Will also spend time performing the same tasks as the employees on their team. **Qualifications** ------------------ Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or related field, or equivalent experience * Minimum of one year of directly related work experience * Management of budget assigned to the maintenance area Preferred Qualifications * Intermediate English language knowledge
