Position Summary: Responsible for managing the storage area, supervising operational staff, and controlling the receipt, placement, and dispatch of materials, ensuring order and safety. Ensures order, cleanliness, and operational safety in the yard. **"MASSA ACE HARDWARE"** A COMPANY DEDICATED TO THE PURCHASE AND SALE OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS IS SEEKING: **"YARD SUPERVISOR"** **Position Description:** Responsible for managing the storage area, supervising operational staff, and controlling the receipt, placement, and dispatch of materials. Key responsibilities include maintaining order and cleanliness, conducting inventories, ensuring efficient loading/unloading of goods, and guaranteeing operational safety. · **Supervision and Leadership:** Coordinates operational staff during material loading/unloading, assigning daily tasks. · **Inventory Management:** Controls material inflow and outflow, performing periodic physical inventories to prevent shortages. · **Order and Cleanliness:** Maintains the yard, loading docks, and warehouse organized and clean, ensuring materials are properly labeled and protected. · **Safety:** Supervises proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and machinery, monitoring compliance with industrial hygiene and safety standards. · **Supplier/Customer Service:** Coordinates goods receipt and supports material loading for delivery. · **Delivery Control:** Manages local and out-of-town deliveries of materials and products to customers. Experience in logistics, forklift operation, knowledge of construction materials, and leadership skills. Competitive salary; full statutory benefits provided.
