Development of skills in taxation and numerical analysis. **Position: Accounting Assistant** **Location:** Hermosillo, Sonora **Company:** Agricultural Sector **Job Description** We are looking for an experienced **Accounting Assistant** to support accounting, tax, and inventory control processes, ensuring proper compliance with obligations before the Tax Administration Service (SAT) and the company’s financial control. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting * Minimum of **2 years of experience in accounting** * Experience managing **accounting inventories** * Knowledge of the **SAT portal** * Proficiency in **tax calculation (Income Tax and VAT)** * Experience in **VAT control and recovery (credit balances)** * XML handling (download, review, and control) * Intermediate or advanced Excel skills **Desirable:** * Experience in agricultural companies * Knowledge of administrative facilitations for the primary sector **Main Responsibilities** * Recording of accounting journal entries * Inventory control and reconciliation * Bank reconciliations * XML download and validation * VAT and Income Tax determination * Filing tax returns with the SAT * Control of deductible and transferred VAT * Monitoring of VAT credit balances and refunds * Responding to tax-related requests * Supporting monthly accounting closings **Competencies** * Attention to detail * Organization * Numerical analysis * Proactivity * Teamwork **We Offer** * Competitive salary (based on experience) * Statutory benefits * Job stability * Growth opportunities * Professional work environment **Working Hours** * Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:30, with two hours for lunch * Saturdays, 09:00–02:00 * Availability during monthly closings Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $7,154.71 – $15,147.48 per month Workplace: On-site employment
