Regulatory Compliance: • Determine or validate the applicable tariff classification. • Identify non-tariff regulations and restrictions. • Verify compliance with required NOMs or permits. Document Management: • Prepare and validate the Value Declaration (MVE). • Compile and maintain the electronic file for each operation. • Validate documentation required for customs clearance. Coordination with Customs Agency: • Provide technical information for preparation of the customs entry (pedimento). • Review the proforma customs entry prior to clearance. • Authorize transmission via VUCEM in accordance with internal policies. Risk Control: • Detect inconsistencies in values, classifications, or regulations. • Escalate potential tax or regulatory risks to management. • Participate in internal foreign trade audits. Continuous Improvement: • Propose improvements to import and export processes. • Develop controls to prevent customs errors. • Support procurement and logistics activities.
