Optimize human and material resources Job Objective: Manage and supervise operational processes in the mining section, ensuring compliance with mineral extraction plans, and with the company's established safety, quality, and productivity standards, as well as optimizing human and material resources to ensure operational profitability. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and control mining operations under your responsibility, ensuring compliance with development, preparation, and exploitation programs. Coordinate, assign, and monitor operational personnel activities to ensure efficient execution of tasks. Ensure achievement of production objectives on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. Continuously inspect and evaluate working conditions to ensure a safe environment and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Propose and implement training, coaching, and corrective action programs focused on safety, environment, and operational process improvement. Supervise drilling, blasting, ore hauling, and waste removal activities, verifying adherence to established procedures. Supervise the installation and maintenance of services and ground support required for mining operations. Monitor and control operational costs in the section, identifying opportunities for improvement and resource optimization. Coordinate and supervise contractor performance, ensuring compliance with scope, quality standards, and contractual terms. Prepare operational reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making. Required Profile: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field. Experience supervising mining operations. Knowledge of drilling, blasting, hauling, development, and exploitation in mining. Familiarity with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations. Ability to lead work teams and coordinate contractors.
