Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state\-of\-the\-art vehicles across the world. **Job Responsibilities:** **POSITION OBJECTIVE:** Supervise the work of personnel under their charge and verify that procedures are followed for each operation, identify training and development needs of assigned personnel, prepare reports and operation summaries, maintain constant communication with supervisors and subordinates, detect operational failures, propose process improvements for continuous quality enhancement. **POSITION PROFILE:** ACADEMIC LEVEL: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related university studies LANGUAGES: Basic English GENDER: No preference YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 3 years REQUIRED SKILLS: Teamwork, availability, seriousness, order, cleanliness, safety and hygiene, personnel management TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE IN: Kan ban, lean manufacturing, six sigma TRAVEL AVAILABILITY: Yes OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Teamwork, availability to rotate between evening and night shifts **POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Review production schedules to request raw materials and complementary materials from the corresponding warehouse to meet production targets. * Maintain attendance records for personnel assigned to their area. * Assign tasks according to subordinates' capabilities or specializations, and provide guidance in performing tasks and solving problems. * Prepare machine and/or equipment parameter adjustment sheets for equipment under their responsibility. * Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure proper functioning of equipment and devices used. * Be responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in their area, as well as ensuring that information relevant to each operation is up to date and clearly visible. * Be responsible for fostering a pleasant working environment for all personnel within a framework of respect. * Authority to stop the line in case of quality, safety, or environmental alerts. * Verify that the team leader has reviewed all startup checklists (safety, quality, and productivity) and ensured completion by team members. * Remain available in the production area at all times to respond immediately to team members' assistance calls (Andon), with the primary objective of helping resolve issues and preserving production for the customer. * Temporarily replace absent production leaders (absences, bathroom breaks, cafeteria, breaks, etc.). * Ensure shift start activities: 1\. Review information from previous shifts regarding safety, quality, and productivity issues 2\. Make work adjustments based on absenteeism, training, etc. 3\. Walk through the production area to confirm that 5S, equipment availability, and material supply conditions meet standard requirements. 4\. Participate in the Level 1 meeting with team members before the shift. * Ensure shift end activities: 1\. Prepare safety, quality, and productivity communication information for the next shift 2\. Verify that 5S, equipment availability, and material supply conditions meet standards at the end of the shift. * Participate in the maintenance, training, and continuous improvement of standardized work for team members. * Review hourly line performance and take action to resolve issues affecting line performance. * Report first hour performance to the manager during the Level 2 floor meeting. * Conduct standardized work verification once per week for each team member to ensure correct execution, immediately address any abnormalities, and document results.
