Coordination of production and personnel meetings Job: Senior Planner He is responsible for analyzing the demands, dates, and priorities of customer requirements in order to determine and develop an action plan that allows him to meet their needs on time and in the proper manner. Activities: * Create shop order. * Run MRP for shop order. * Feed production plan. * Remove lines of fulfilled orders from production plan. * Coordinate daily production meetings. * Review workload with supervisor. * Perform approvals to recreate orders. * Download daily production report. * Run manufacturing MRP. * Develop production plan. * Determine required personnel count based on production workload. * Coordinate Optimized Demand Planning (DOP) meetings. * Recreate orders in system when necessary due to routing and/or BOM revision changes. * Develop recovery plans. * Conduct safety stock analysis for molded parts. * Determine number of affected units due to equipment downtime. * Determine material shortage priorities based on customer priorities and impact on manufacturing process.
