* **Supervision of operations:** Coordinate and supervise all daily tasks of the laundry staff to ensure that washing, drying, and ironing processes are carried out efficiently and promptly. * **Personnel management:** Lead, train, and evaluate the work team, assigning tasks, managing schedules, permissions, and overtime. * **Inventory and supplies control:** Maintain strict control over the inventory of linens, tableware, and supplies such as detergents and fabric softeners, placing purchase requisitions when necessary. * **Quality management:** Ensure that laundry services meet quality standards by inspecting clothing to verify cleanliness and condition before delivery. * **Administrative management:** Prepare production reports (e.g., kilograms washed), manage departmental expenses and payroll, and track miscellaneous charges. * **Maintenance and safety:** Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of machinery (washers, dryers) and ensure staff use equipment and products correctly and safely. * **Problem resolution:** Address and resolve incidents, customer complaints, and operational issues efficiently.
