We invite you to learn more about us, our operations, and our exciting plans for the future.**The purpose of the Engineer, Production Planner role is****to safely establish the production strategy by designing drilling layouts and blast cards, as well as performing analysis, reporting, and scheduling related to mining activities, maintaining direct coordination with operational teams to meet plans and achieve optimal results.** **Requirements:*** Education: Bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences (Mining, Geosciences, Surveying or related field). * Minimum of 4 years of experience in Operations / Technical Services in Underground Mining. * Experience in Long Hole Mining methods, “Sublevel and Long Hole Stoping” Supported. * Experience with Long Hole drilling design software. * Adaptability to work in a multicultural environment. * Committed to Safety and Environmental stewardship. * Demonstrate communication and leadership skills. **Key responsibilities of the position:*** Schedule and monitor cut sequencing matrix. * Generate and maintain the operational cut database. * Perform cut optimization. * Ensure short-term production plans are met. * Validate geological models against mining blocks to optimize extraction. * Design drill patterns considering geomechanical, geological, drilling equipment positioning, and lag factors. * Design blasts to optimize cut geometry and face stability, ensuring appropriate fragmentation and efficient explosive consumption. * Calculate explosives and detonation devices. * Perform physical calculations – production database. * Calculate planned dilution. **NOTE:** Torex Gold Resources and its subsidiaries do not accept resumes from recruitment agencies without a valid contract and those not nominated as authorized partners for search activities.
