




Job Summary: Execute electrical maintenance work orders on fixed equipment, ensuring quality and compliance with the weekly maintenance schedule. Key Highlights: 1. We invite you to learn more about us, our operations, and our exciting plans for the future.**Requirements:*** Education as an Electrical, Electronics, or Electromechanical Engineer, Electrical Technician, or related field. * 3 years of field experience in electrical maintenance within mining environments. * Knowledge of reading electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams. * Application of diagnostics to electrical equipment using specialized tools. * Field work skills in underground mining. * Proficiency with Office 365. **Responsibilities:****Maintenance Plan Execution:** * Read and understand the information contained in the Work Order received from your Supervisor. * Clarify with your Supervisor any unclear points in the Work Order. * Collect from the warehouse the resources specified in the Work Order—including supplies, spare parts, and tools—and confirm they are ready for use. * Confirm with your Supervisor that the equipment is available to perform the Work Order. * Safely carry out the electrical maintenance tasks specified in the Work Order following standard operating procedures. Report any anomalies requiring immediate attention to your Supervisor. * The Electrical Engineer/Electrician shall: * Install and maintain low- and medium-voltage electrical networks as required by the Maintenance Program and the mining process. * Ensure safe electrical power availability at the mining face or wherever needed during the mining cycle. * Perform maintenance on electrical equipment such as electric motors, motor control centers (MCCs), electrical starters, electrical outlets, transformers, switches, power lines, variable frequency drives (VFDs), etc. * Effectively diagnose faults related to electrical systems, power networks, and electrical equipment. * Review electrical equipment data logs to identify improvements and predict failures in the mine’s power network. * Verify that no consumables, tools, or rags have been left inside the equipment. * Record maintenance data in the Work Order. * Notify your Supervisor if there is any issue with the equipment or area. * Inform your Supervisor upon task completion and request assignment of a new task. * Follow environmental procedures when disposing of hazardous waste such as oil, lubricants, rags, etc. * Provide real-time information via appropriate workplace technology, as specified throughout the shift. * Perform unplanned tasks as required. * Clean the work area upon task completion. Return remaining supplies, spare parts, and tools to the warehouse. **At Shift Completion:** * Complete the shift report and submit it to your Supervisor. * Report damages, failures, or any anomalies to your Supervisor. **Other Duties:** * Comply with all safety and hygiene rules. * Follow environmental procedures. * Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required for underground work and specific tasks. * Always apply the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedure for equipment. * Report any issues with equipment or the work area to your Supervisor. * Maintain a clean work area. * Follow all operational procedures and permits applicable to this role and specific tasks. * Participate in cleanup campaigns as required. ***NOTE: Torex Gold Resources and its subsidiaries do not accept resumes from recruitment agencies not under an active contract and not designated as authorized partners for sourcing.***
