Report any anomalies requiring immediate attention to the Supervisor. * The Electrical Engineer shall: * Install and maintain low and medium voltage electrical systems as required by the Maintenance Program and mining operations. * Ensure electrical power is safely available at the working face or wherever needed during the mining cycle. * Perform maintenance on electrical equipment such as electric motors, MLCs, electrical starters, outlets, transformers, switches, power lines, VFDs, etc. * Effectively diagnose faults related to electrical systems, networks, and equipment. * Review electrical equipment data logs to identify improvements and predict failures in the mine’s electrical network. * Verify that no materials, tools, or rags have been left inside the equipment. * Record maintenance data completed on the Work Order. * Notify the Supervisor of any issues with the equipment or area. * Inform the Supervisor upon task completion and request a new assignment. * Follow environmental procedures when disposing of hazardous waste such as oil, lubricants, rags, etc. * Provide real-time information through appropriate workplace technology as required during the shift. * Perform unplanned tasks as necessary. * Clean the work area upon task completion. We invite you to learn more about us, our operations, and our exciting plans for the future.**Requirements:*** Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical Engineering or related field. * 3 years of field experience in electrical maintenance and electromechanical work in underground mining environments. * Proven knowledge of electrical substations, relays, thermal-magnetic breakers, frequency drives, low and medium voltage networks, electrical panels, instrumentation, pumping systems, pump piping, communications, and ventilation. * Knowledge of installing GGC-type 2000 Volt electrical cabling for underground mine equipment services. * Knowledge of installation and maintenance of submersible and centrifugal pumps at 480 volts. * Knowledge of installation and maintenance of 480-volt mining fans. * Knowledge of installation, connection, and maintenance of LEAKY FEEDER antenna-type cable for underground mine communication systems. * Familiarity with proper execution and tracking of work orders within the SAP system. **Key Responsibilities:*** Install and maintain all electrical installations and equipment, as well as instruments and electronic devices, according to the Maintenance Program and mining process. * Inspect electrical equipment and installations to ensure they are safe, functional, and compliant with standards. * Test, maintain, and calibrate all installed mine instruments, including flow meters, pressure gauges, level sensors, air and temperature detectors, among others. * Perform maintenance on leaky feeder systems, fiber optics, and Ethernet IP devices. * Effectively diagnose faults related to electrical and instrumentation devices, communicating and working with the Supervisor to resolve them. * Identify issues using testing equipment. * Review data logs from instrumentation devices to identify improvements and predict failures in the mining process. * Carry out maintenance of pumping, ventilation, and piping systems in underground mines. * Read and understand the information contained in the Work Order received from the Supervisor. * Clarify with the Supervisor any unclear aspects of the Work Order. * Collect specified resources from inventory, such as supplies, spare parts, and tools, and confirm they are ready for use. * Confirm with the Supervisor that the equipment is available to execute the Work Order. * Safely perform maintenance tasks specified in the Work Order by following standard operating procedures. * Report any anomalies requiring immediate attention to the Supervisor. ***NOTE: Torex Gold Resources and its subsidiaries do not accept resumes from recruitment agencies that are not under an active contract and have not been designated as authorized partners for recruitment activities.***
