Support the implementation of electronic management systems **Job Description** Collaborating on innovation challenges, interacting with industry leaders, attending cross-functional networking events, and volunteering for community service activities **Accountable For:** Supporting the **implementation, documentation, and validation of an electronic minimum/maximum/excess system**, ensuring proper inventory administration, process standardization, staff training, and improved material picking efficiency through the use of digital tools. **Key Activities and Responsibilities:** * Support the **implementation of an electronic minimum/maximum/excess system** for materials in the warehouse. * Create and update **system documentation**, including procedures, instructions, and support materials. * Support **system validation** after implementation to ensure correct operation. * Provide support in the **preparation and delivery of training** related to the new system. * Review and update **standard work for teams** involved in material handling. * Collaborate with **warehouse controls** to develop and maintain the electronic system. * Conduct physical inventory reviews in the warehouse and validate consistency against the system. * Analyze and improve **material picking trends and routes** to increase operational efficiency. * Support data collection, analysis, and visualization for decision-making. * Participate in **continuous improvement and process digitalization initiatives** **Requirements:** * Currently enrolled in a higher education program (semester or quarter); graduation expected in **December 2026 or later** * Intermediate conversational English proficiency * Valid optional insurance **Field of Study:** Industrial Engineering, Logistics, International Trade, or related discipline. **Desired Experience and Skills:** * Power BI, Office, AutoCAD, AI tools, Inventory Control "GM does not provide support or sponsorship for legal immigration-related documentation.
