Personnel and conflict management skills.**Job Description:** The main responsibilities of the Maintenance Coordinator relate to activities aimed at improving availability and maintainability in assembly processes, as well as implementing continuous improvement, tracking and coordinating team performance indicators. * Zero accidents in the maintenance department. * Compliance with the PM program. * Closure of work orders (CM, PM, TPM). * Annual contribution of cost-saving initiatives. * Submission of one improvement idea per month (KAIZEN). * Achievement of maintenance objectives. * Compliance with safety audits and TOCC cards. * Zero findings during quality audits within their area of responsibility. * Execution and closure of red tags reported on Autonomous Maintenance boards. * Ensuring compliance with GF/AAM policies and procedures. * Ensuring compliance with the PM program and closure of PM work orders. * Reduction of Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) for production equipment, as well as optimization of Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). * Management of information captured in work orders. * Coordination of corrective and preventive maintenance activities, facilitating necessary resources for completion. * Promotion of teamwork within the maintenance department. * Administration of attendance system (KRONOS) for supervised personnel. **Required Skills and Education** * Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering or related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry. * Development and implementation of improvement projects. * Proficient use of manual and electric hand tools. * Active participation in reducing consumption of electrical and mechanical parts by proposing improvements. * Active participation in creation and updating of procedures for backing up programs, logic, and parameters of all machines, lines, and PLCs. * Participation in development of projects to improve equipment maintainability. * Teamwork with the maintenance department for diagnosis and resolution of electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues. * Participation in training and development programs for technicians. **About AAM:** As a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier, AAM designs, engineers and manufactures Driveline and Metal Forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles.
