Job Description and Activity Details The Toolmaker is responsible for performing the necessary machining to complete assigned tasks, following work instructions while always ensuring personal safety. Will be part of a Support Department that continuously seeks customer satisfaction and departmental profitability. Working on fixture manufacturing and repair. * Responsible for producing parts, verifying dimensions using digital or direct-reading instruments (dial indicator, caliper, bore gage, height gage). * Must be capable of machining parts with a precision of 0.010". * Responsible for powering on and off the machine being used (lathe, milling machine, etc.). * Must be able to perform basic blueprint interpretation. * Responsible for time entry into the system, following the WO being worked on. * Must participate in company initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and innovation of both production and administrative processes. * Employee must comply with safety guidelines, embrace a prevention-oriented culture to avoid accidents or illnesses, preserve facilities, and prevent adverse environmental impacts. * Must understand and commit to the Power of the 5 Values.
