This opportunity is for you! **About Us:** We are an established company with multiple divisions (Construction, Metrology, Conformity Assessment, IT Consulting, Regulatory and Energy Standards) that develops software solutions for the industry in Mexico. Our technology team is expanding, and we seek individuals with a mindset of continuous improvement who want to directly impact the quality and stability of our products. **Your Mission:** You will be a key member of the development team, implementing integrations, resolving incidents, and driving continuous improvements. Your work will directly impact the stability and evolution of our solutions, following secure development practices and ensuring quality before each release. **What You'll Do:** * Develop integrations and data changes according to specifications and acceptance criteria * Resolve tickets and incidents, tracking them through to validation and closure * Implement controlled continuous improvements and refactors to reduce technical debt * Write tests (unit/integration) and validate in QA before release * Ensure secure development practices in every delivery * Support monitoring, log analysis, and production failure diagnosis * Document analysis, test evidence, and deployment notes * Participate in code reviews and uphold team standards **We Are Looking For Someone With:** ✅ Requirements: * Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Software, or related field (equivalent demonstrable experience also accepted) * 1–3+ years of backend development experience * Python (advanced level) * Experience with REST APIs and integrations * SQL/NoSQL database proficiency * Git as a daily tool * Experience handling tickets and improvements ✅ Highly Desirable: * AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, Secrets Manager) * Unit and integration testing * Monitoring and log analysis * Technical English (reading) ✅ What Really Matters to Us: * Analytical thinking and ability to solve technical problems at their root * Attention to detail — every deployment counts * Collaborative mindset and adaptability to a constantly improving team * Discipline in documenting and providing evidence of your work * Willingness to support incident response when required The Reality of This Role (Unfiltered): * You’ll do more than write code — you’ll also resolve tickets and support operations * You’ll work with a team that values clean code, testing, and secure development * You’ll have autonomy to propose refactors and product improvements * Our primary stack is Python + AWS, but what we value most is your ability to learn * You’ll report to the Tech Lead (technical direction) and the PM (prioritization and coordination) **Why Join Us?** * 100% remote with genuine flexibility * Modern stack: Python, AWS, REST APIs * Culture of continuous improvement and code review * Stability of an established company with the energy of a growing team * Opportunity to directly impact products used by real customers * Competitive salary commensurate with experience * In addition to statutory vacation days, 10 business days per year (DIGAMMA Days) **Don’t Meet All Requirements?
