**Do you enjoy designing software without the bureaucracy of a large corporation?** Here, you'll work closely with founders (the ones who directly create the products), and your creativity turns into solutions users feel and appreciate. Forget about bureaucracy and waiting weeks for feedback. Here you have direct access to decision-makers and transparent discussions, with autonomy to research, propose, and solve what truly matters. We are a small, collaborative team that's crushing it—the kind where growth becomes inevitable. * **Modality:** Hybrid (flexible, 3 days in-office—collaboration matters, but so does your time; remote periods and flexible vacations) * **Location:** Guadalajara * **Contract:** Service-based, with flexible options to ensure your income is net * **Salary:** $30,000 - 35,000 monthly net **What’s in it for you?** * **More Than Screens:** You’ll lead research, map user journeys, propose tools, analyze data, and suggest improvements. If you see a better way, do it and make it happen! * **Diverse Products:** Work on mature SaaS platforms, new launches, and custom projects. Collaborate with founders, engineers, and clients—your work won’t get lost. * **Real Access:** Brainstorm directly with founders. Want to know why a feature exists? Ask the person who built it. * **Flexibility and Autonomy:** Need time off for family, travel, or emergencies? This team truly understands. * **No Bureaucracy, No Ghosting:** You’ll always receive feedback and be heard. In a small team of 7–10 people, *your voice matters and won’t get lost in red tape.* **The Challenge** How do you build beloved (and used) products when UX voices often get drowned out by launch pressure? **Your mission:** Bring clarity and perspective to diverse user journeys—from new SaaS products to improving existing tools. Guide founders and clients past their assumptions and set the standard in research, iteration, and proactive improvement. It’s not just about perfecting buttons. You’ll help this team become more user-centered by blending research, prototyping, and continuous improvements. Your ideas—based on real data and findings—will unlock happier users (and fewer uncomfortable support calls). **What Success Looks Like** * Products and features launched on time, intuitive, and measurable for ongoing improvement—not just “done.” * Product usage tracked: you implemented analytics, identified friction points, and prioritized data-driven improvements. * Users and clients genuinely *prefer* the tools you designed (and tell you so through feedback). **Key Responsibilities** * Lead user research, interviews, and end-to-end journey mapping (not just design predefined specs). * Design, test, and iterate flows, wireframes, and prototypes (using Figma and other tools). * Set up and monitor usability and analytics tools; turn usage data into actionable improvements. * Facilitate feedback sessions with founders, engineering, juniors, and even clients. * Proactively identify and prioritize improvements—don’t wait for others to report issues. **Requirements** * Proven experience in full-cycle UX/UI (from research to final delivery) on SaaS or complex web platforms. * Ability to work independently: capable of leading discovery, design, and iteration without constant supervision. * Advanced proficiency in Figma and deep experience in research and UX analytics tools. * Up-to-date Portfolio or Book required. **Team and Reporting** * Reports directly to founders. * You’ll collaborate closely with: Founders, engineering, clients. * Culture: High feedback, no sugarcoating, high trust; expect honest debates and real collaboration. **About the Company** Think of a growing software and SaaS studio, not a slow mega-corporation. * SaaS platforms (logistics, IoT, utilities), plus custom projects for ambitious clients. * Small, early-stage team: 7–10 people and growing.
