**WAREHOUSE CLERK** Objective: Manage inventory, quality, weights, and product classification for received and sold goods; control shrinkage; and report to management on proper warehouse administration at the point of sale. **Position Profile: Warehouse Clerk (Dried Chiles and Garlic)** **Position Title: Warehouse Clerk** **Location:** Guadalajara, Jalisco Central de Abastos **Key Requirements** * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in inventory control, product rotation (FIFO), customer service, order fulfillment, backorder planning, knowledge of agricultural products (chiles, garlic, seeds, etc.), ability to identify defective goods, and proper stacking techniques * **Education:** Minimum completed high school diploma; bachelor’s degree in progress preferred * **Skills:** ü Intermediate-level Excel proficiency (Mandatory requirement) ü Experience with SAE and retail-sector inventory management software ü Planning and organization ü Results orientation ü Commitment ü Results-driven mindset ü Adaptability to change ü Communication ü Teamwork * **Physical Requirements:** Ability to perform physical labor, such as lifting and arranging merchandise (dried chiles, garlic, sacks, etc.) * **Recommendations:** Letters of recommendation (commonly required at Central de Abastos) **Main Responsibilities** ü Customer Service: ü Execute and supervise receipt, inspection, and placement of merchandise ü Batch tracking of products ü Preparation of sales invoices ü Fulfill customer orders (wholesale/retail) ü Inventory and stock level control ü Ensure proper rotation (FIFO) to maintain freshness and minimize shrinkage ü Verify weights, quantities, quality, and classification of received and sold products ü Record daily, weekly, and monthly inventories ü Monitor and control shrinkage, implementing corrective actions to reduce it ü Prepare daily opening and closing inventory reports and price lists ü Product labeling and price marking ü Perform sales activities, quote prices, and take orders Employment type: Full-time Salary: $12,300.00 - $15,300.00 per month Benefits: * Grocery vouchers License/Certification: * Driver's license (Mandatory) Workplace: On-site employment
