**About the Role:**
As a Building Engineer at CBRE, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building systems and the performance of various areas, including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and air conditioning.
This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services department. You will be responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs to equipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire protection, security, and control systems. Maintain building systems and facilities in accordance with applicable standards, as assigned.
Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental and company directives related to building operations and workplace safety.
Maintain an energy management program. Ensure all systems operate as efficiently as possible.
Collaborate in implementing a preventive maintenance program to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated service life. Perform emergency repairs as needed.
Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
Train others and share deep expertise in your own discipline along with broad knowledge across various disciplines within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and persuade others toward agreement.
Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and the facility management team.
Develop specifications and assist in requesting and managing maintenance/repair services under contracts.
**What You’ll Need:**
Technical degree in industrial maintenance, engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in similar roles.
Prior experience in shift management or supervision is preferred.
Conversational English (desirable).
**Certifications and/or Licenses (Desirable):** HVAC, electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC and refrigeration, mechanical process controls, power transmission, or motor repair
