**Logistics Assistant:**
* Age: 25 years or older
* Education: Completed or ongoing Bachelor's degree or Engineering degree in Logistics, Domestic and International Transportation / International Business / Bachelor's degree in International Trade
* Knowledge and skills: Strong oral and written communication skills
* Basic English proficiency is not mandatory (university-level English instruction is sufficient)
* Experience and ability in domestic logistics activities and in developing relationships with logistics service providers, interacting with drivers and truck personnel, and managing domestic and international road freight traffic
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of national geography
* **Availability to perform tracking tasks (via mobile phone) outside regular working hours and on weekends — this means continuously monitoring shipments in transit at all times**
**Main Responsibilities**
* Verification of purchase orders sent by customers against the weekly schedule provided by the Logistics Manager.
* Support in tracking loading/unloading operations for various suppliers and freight carriers as assigned.
* Review and follow-up of pending logistics matters across customer and supplier groups during weekdays and weekends. (A mobile phone is assigned)
* Recording and registration of shortages declared by freight carriers upon unloading; tracking and recording whether such shortages are returned to the warehouse or discarded by the freight carriers. Obtaining and forwarding customer unloading tickets to Finance.
* Support in tracking freight carrier reports raised by Quality regarding required cage repairs to avoid impacting future loads — including tarpaulin replacements/repairs, replacement of damaged frame and floor wood, and door sealing.
* Verification of cage/trailer license plate numbers and validation that they are correct and appropriate for each warehouse.
* Tracking missing hopper information from our customs broker suppliers for railcars.
* Support in tracking railway unit transits twice daily to identify units stalled for more than two days in Ferromex yards and recommend them to operational staff.
* Preparation of warehouse-specific reports and sending them via email to our warehouse managers and unloading personnel.
* Support in printing and coding invoices issued by freight carriers.
* Tracking of document scans performed by warehouse managers for all daily trip-related document sets released by the warehouse; ensuring documents remain updated for Finance audits with SAT.
* Registration and tracking of onboarding new logistics suppliers, updating our database with current documentation.
* Validation and review of completed trips that have not yet been paid; following up with freight carriers to issue pending invoices for payment processing.
* Updating freight carrier supplier documents (tax status and compliance opinion) every three months.
* Support in sending payment receipts to customers/suppliers when required.

Salary: MXN 13,500 gross per month
