




Position Summary: A leading metal-mechanical construction company is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead overall project administration, business development, and personnel management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership of assembly/disassembly and industrial maintenance projects. 2. Team management and business development in the industrial sector. 3. Quality assurance in welding and manufacturing processes. A prominent company in the metal-mechanical construction industry is seeking talent for its Projects department. Position: **Project Engineer** Location: **Guadalajara, Jal.** **Experience and Knowledge:** * \+ 8 years of experience in **general project administration for projects valued at 30–50 MDP (Mandatory)** * \+ 8 years of experience with industrial maintenance business knowledge **(Client Portfolio)** * \+ 8 years of experience **leading assembly/disassembly projects, structural fabrication, or industrial maintenance**, etc. * \+ 8 years of general project administration * Advanced interpretation of drawings and standards **(AWS, ASME, API)** * Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and ERPs. * Knowledge of **Labor Laws and Safety Regulations (NOM-STPS)** for crew management. * **Financial Management:** Preparation of budgets, control of unit costs, and variance analysis to ensure expected profit margins. * **Business Development:** Prospecting new industrial clients, identifying needs, and preparing competitive technical-economic proposals. * **Personnel Leadership:** Supervising site engineers, supervisors, and unionized/subcontracted personnel, promoting discipline and goal achievement. * **Labor Relations:** Ensuring compliance with the Federal Labor Law and safety regulations to avoid legal risks or fines. * **Quality Assurance:** Supervising welding, manufacturing, and assembly processes to ensure compliance with contractual standards, regulations, and quality procedures. **Requirements:** Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer, or related field Advanced English / Reports to US PMP Certification (Preferred) **Salary and Benefits:** Salary: $40,000–$55,000 Gross (Pre-tax) Statutory benefits + Productivity bonuses + Gas allowance Monday to Friday Employment type: Full-time Salary: $40,000.00–$55,000.00 per month Work location: On the road
