Ensure the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems within the facilities. **Here are some examples of the activities you will perform:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems in general * Conduct inspections and diagnostics on chilled water chillers, verifying operation, pressures, temperatures, and component condition * Maintain mini-splits, VRF/VRV systems, condensers, and packaged units * Clean coils, filters, fans, drains, and other system components * Verify and adjust refrigerant levels, pressures, and operating parameters * Inspect electrical panels, sensors, thermostats, and control systems * Report failures, anomalies, or spare parts requirements * Complete service logs, checklists, and maintenance reports * Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and sound technical practices * Coordinate with supervisors and facilities personnel to ensure operational continuity **Essential Skills for the Role:** * Technician in refrigeration, HVAC, electromechanical, electrical, mechanical, or related field. * Prior experience in industrial refrigeration roles * Knowledge of HVAC and chiller functionality and failure modes * Proficiency in handling refrigerants (R410a, R22, R134a, or others) * Basic ability to interpret electrical diagrams * Proficiency with measurement tools (manometers, multimeters, clamp meters) * Understanding of chilled water chiller operation * Knowledge of refrigeration and climate control systems * Flexible availability for shift work. **Desirable Skills for the Role:** * HVAC certification or equivalent * Refrigerant handling certification **Here are some examples of our benefits:** * Major medical expense insurance * Life insurance * Year-end bonus (aguinaldo) * Vacation premium * Grocery vouchers * Savings fund * Transportation * Subsidized cafeteria . **Job Category** ---------------- Operations Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
