Focus on performance tuning and data management for robust systems. **Position Overview** We are seeking a skilled Mid\-Level SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize database solutions that support business applications and analytics. This role requires strong experience in SQL development, data modeling, and performance tuning, along with the ability to collaborate with application developers, analysts, and operations teams. **Key Responsibilities** **Database Development \& Maintenance** * Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views * Build and optimize database schemas and data models * Support ETL processes and data integration workflows * Maintain data integrity, consistency, and security across systems **Performance Optimization** * Analyze and optimize slow\-running queries and database performance * Create and maintain indexes, partitions, and execution plans * Monitor database performance and proactively identify bottlenecks **Data Management \& Integration** * Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, flat files, third\-party systems) * Develop and maintain data pipelines for reporting and operational use * Ensure high availability and reliability of data systems **Collaboration** * Work closely with software developers to support application features * Partner with data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver reporting datasets * Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices **Documentation \& Governance** * Document database structures, processes, and workflows * Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards * Maintain version control and deployment processes **Qualifications** * 3–6 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role * Strong proficiency in SQL (T\-SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL) * Experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views * Solid understanding of relational database design and normalization * Experience with performance tuning and query optimization * Familiarity with ETL processes and tools * Experience with version control (Git or similar) **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Snowflake, etc.) * Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schemas) * Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) * Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) * Experience working in Agile development environments **Key Skills** * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * Attention to detail and data accuracy * Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues * Effective communication and collaboration Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $16,000\.00 \- $20,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
