The barista is responsible for maintaining quality standards, space cleanliness, and efficiency in payment processing and organization. **Key Responsibilities** **1\. Preparation and Quality (Barista Craft)** * Prepare coffee-based beverages (espresso, pour-over, manual brewing methods) and other menu items following standard recipes. * Monitor coffee bean quality and adjust grinder settings daily. * Provide customers with recommendations on different types of coffee available for sale. **2\. Management and Cash Handling (Cash Register)** * Open and close the cash register honestly and accurately. * Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash payments, and process bank terminal transactions. * Record daily sales and report financial incidents. **3\. Organization and Inventory (Retail Area)** * Organize product displays for sale in the retail area (coffee bags, accessories, bakery items). **4\. Maintenance and Cleaning** * Keep the bar area, tables, and service station immaculate at all times. * Perform deep cleaning of the espresso machine and grinders at the end of each shift. * Ensure the establishment complies with food safety and hygiene regulations.
