Position Summary: Flowserve is seeking a materials manager with experience and skills to effectively manage materials in order to meet the company's inventory, order fulfillment, delivery timelines, and labor/manufacturer productivity goals. This includes managing the master production schedule to minimize costs and maximize plant performance. Additionally, the role will be responsible for developing the planning team to carry out long-, medium-, and short-term planning, managing master data, and utilizing the ERP system for efficient material planning processes. This position supports all material management planning initiatives and process standards. Responsibilities: * Develop, manage, and train members of the planning team. * Oversee all material planning processes (SIOP, demand management, MPS, MRP, production control, and inventory management). * Develop an effective materials strategy to support OTD (order-to-delivery) objectives and delivery lead times with optimized inventory investment. * Manage overdue backlogs, prepare recovery plans, general reports, and improvement projects. * Ensure production schedules maximize utilization of manufacturing assets while meeting on-time delivery, OTD, backlog, and inventory targets. * Ensure planning processes support corporate and site initiatives. * Align ERP plans with project management milestones. * Manage inventory for POC (percentage of completion). Requirements: * Minimum of 7 years of work experience in manufacturing environments using ERP systems in material planning roles. * Strong leadership experience. * Proven track record leading continuous improvement activities. * Business acumen and ability to manage, analyze, and interpret financial data. ERP system experience (preferably SAP). * Lean certification (Green Belt, Black Belt). * Ability to manage large sets of data (items, routings, bills of materials, work centers) and interpret results. Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
