Job Summary: This Security Guard position focuses on protecting company assets and personnel safety within an automotive manufacturing company, monitoring access points and suspicious activities. Flex\-N\-Gate is a continuously growing manufacturing company and industry leader in the automotive sector, ranked #10 among North America’s top 150 suppliers by “Automotive News”. **Purpose:** To protect Flex N Gate’s assets and personnel integrity in accordance with company policies and regulations, with emphasis on business continuity. **Functions and Responsibilities:** * Protect and secure Flex N Gate’s property. * Safeguard the physical integrity of all personnel entering Flex N Gate’s premises. * Inspect all outgoing and incoming transportation—including rail—per the C\-TPAT system requirements. * Monitor and control entries and exits of Flex N Gate personnel, visitors, suppliers, contractors, and carriers following established procedures outlined in Work Instructions for each process. * Inspect incoming and outgoing materials, tools, personal belongings, and authorized chemicals entering the plant. * Identify suspicious activities, unsafe acts or conditions, intruders or unauthorized persons in restricted areas, and vulnerabilities during patrol rounds. * Report any violations of FNG policies, internal work regulations, and Code of Ethics. * Provide executive and departmental support transportation services. **Job Requirements:** * High school diploma or equivalent. * Experience in private security, facility security, and in-house protection. * Specific experience as a Security Guard, facility protection, in-house security, observational skills, and ability to follow instructions.
