Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project feasibility. **Position Objective** Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing products and devices using CAD tools, ensuring innovation, functionality, and efficiency in production processes. **Key Responsibilities** · Develop new product designs and prototypes from the conceptual stage through detailed design, including generating nested layouts or nesting patterns for components and subcomponents. · Generate nested layouts or “nesting” to optimize material usage and facilitate the manufacturing process, ensuring proper part placement and assembly. * Use specialized software (**SolidWorks** and **AutoCAD**) to create drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation, as well as graphic design software for visual presentations and supporting materials. * Design and develop **fixtures** and holding devices for manufacturing processes. · Participate in the conceptual development of projects by proposing innovative technical solutions. · Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the technical and economic feasibility of projects. · Document and present design progress in both technical and executive formats. Requirements: · **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. · **Technical Knowledge:** o Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. o Experience in designing manufacturing products and devices. o Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials. · **Preferred Experience:** Involvement in industrial design projects and process optimization initiatives.
