Our Vision is to be “The world’s leading responsible hassle\-free supplier of essential industrial components” Objective: The Project Engineer will prepare, coordinate, and monitor a project, from the initial conception to the schedule and final completion. As tasks come in and new stages of the project are met, the project engineer will perform project tasks and ensure everything is completed on time. Communication is key to this role and includes letting the team know of any updates or problems, as well as providing assistance and support whenever necessary. **Typical Accountabilities** * Meet or exceed customer expectations of tooling conception to production launch * Oversee the design and construction of all required tooling for assigned projects within budgets while maintaining company standards, policies, and procedures * Lead \& manage activities associated with Design for Manufacturability of customer tools * Review, recommend, and solicit quotes for all new projects requiring tooling with the most efficient and economical costs while maintaining company policies, timelines, and philosophies * Continually keeping abreast of all new technologies and methods of mold design and construction as they relate to company philosophies * Lead \& manage all tooling project elements, including technical risks ensuring they adhere to ISO 9001 policies and company internal procedures * Enhance customer perception through showcasing technical expertise \& value\-added activities * Provide technical input in the estimating function for part cost, tooling and revisions * Work with procurement, production, manufacturing engineering and other functions to collect data required to prepare and provide quotes for products that are planned to be manufactured on site. * Meet and ensure that EHS policies and procedures are followed by suppliers related to projects under his/her responsibility. * Communicate as needed with customers consisting of; technical, schedule, costs and risks * Provide communication and technical support to the cross functional team internally on all tooling projects * Continuously looking for ways to improve the customer experience **Skills and Experience** * 3\-5 years’ experience in injection mold part \& tooling design and construction techniques * Data Analytics Skills * Project management \- project engineers are decisive, and adept at spotting potential problems and finding appropriate solutions to keep productivity humming along * Time management \- projects must adhere to tight deadlines to be completed on time. Successful project engineers prioritize tasks to make sure the project runs smoothly * Flexibility \- often on stressful projects, unexpected issues arise.
