Grupo Industrial Gargov A leading company in its industry is seeking a Design Engineer **About the Position** Design products based on customer requirements and component specifications necessary for their production; track contract manufacturing projects regarding component design for laser and plasma sheet metal cutting, and laser tubular profile cutting. **Responsibilities** * Documentation control (drawings, STEP files, nesting files, etc.) * • Control of engineering drawing revision changes * • Product database management * • Develop 2D or 3D designs/drawings for new products per customer requirements, as well as shop drawings. * • Maintain active product information database. * • Track new products during manufacturing. * • Verify product manufacturing processes prior to production. * • Support Production with product specifications. * • Track and control revision changes generated in Production or received from customers. * • Design and oversee fabrication of required tooling and/or fixtures. * • Execute cost-reduction improvement projects for components. * • Control internal documents/records and drawings. * • Material knowledge and selection for new products. * • Cost estimation of developed designs (material breakdown and estimation required for product quotation). * • Reverse engineering. * • Develop Design FMEAs. * • Prepare technical data sheets, packaging standards, and/or required work instructions. * Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechatronic Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field. * Extensive knowledge of 2D and 3D drafting. * Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (practical test required). * Minimum 7 years of experience. **Required Skills** * Knowledge of 2D and 3D drafting. * Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. **Preferred Skills** * Experience in product design. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes. **Compensation Package** * Competitive salary, paid weekly. * Statutory benefits. * Meal vouchers. * Life insurance. * Gasoline vouchers. * Uniforms. * Transportation. * Career development opportunities.
