Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.**Job Responsibilities:** * Create necessary signals for each actuator, equipment or moving component in the simulation software. * Create sensors and their corresponding signals in the simulation software. * Create I/O and safety system signals for the cell in the simulation software. * Import the tag list into the simulation software and assign them to the required logic blocks. * Import signal mapping, macros and necessary programs for robots. * Configure the OPC Server and OPC clients (PLC, HMIs, Simulation Software and any required control equipment). * Validate process sequences, equipment and tooling via Virtual Commissioning. * Validate HMI screens via Virtual Commissioning. * Develop action plans or open issues lists to optimize process sequences, equipment and tooling. * Validate and optimize virtual cycle time through proposals such as rebalancing points, process modifications or improvements, etc. * Conduct meetings with customers to review project progress when required. * Create AVI, MPEG or MP4 videos of cells validated via Virtual Commissioning. * Complete all project activities on time and as scheduled. * Comply with all operational and quality system guidelines and procedures to ensure intended results (SGC, KPIs). * Deliver all required outputs to internal and external customers. * Monitor suppliers to review and deliver activities per RFQ; report any delays or incidents. * Submit activity and progress reports to immediate supervisor and assigned project leader for technical project tracking; make decisions based on priorities to meet activity deadlines. * Safeguard and update project information in company-provided media. * Generate deliverables for robot and RDS programs. * Generate deliverables for PLC and HMI programs. * Import, validate and debug robot programs for processes and services. **Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:** ---------------------------------- At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
