Position Summary: We are seeking a technician to quote and advise on cutting tools, document records, and generate reports for CNC processes. Key Highlights: 1. Provides technical support in selecting cutting tools. 2. Maintains detailed records and generates periodic reports. 3. Collaborates in a manufacturing environment with CNC machinery. Responsibilities * Tool Quotation: Request and analyze quotations for cutting tools used in CNC processes from various suppliers. * Technical Advisory: Provide technical support in selecting appropriate cutting tools for different materials and machining processes. * Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quotations, purchase orders, and receipts for cutting tools, as well as generate periodic reports for senior management. Education: Technician in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields. Additional training in CNC machining processes is preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or in manufacturing environments with CNC machinery. * Basic knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools. * Familiarity with CNC machinery and its operation. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Basic CAD/CAM software proficiency. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * English desirable * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Organizational ability and attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively in teams and under pressure. * Proactivity and problem-solving capability.
