Summary: As an Applications Team Lead, you will ensure optimal operation of application booths, maximize material flow, coordinate technicians, and resolve anomalies to meet area metrics. Drive continuous improvement in operations and team development As Applications Team Lead, you will ensure the operation of the application booths and maximize the flow of materials to meet the metrics of the area, coordinating the Application Technicians and robotic application specialists, and solving anormalities that arise throughout the shift. You will report to Applications Manager. **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure the use, operation and cleanliness of the application equipment. * Resolve any anomaly, failure or recurrence, which may arise in the shift derived from maintenance issues, supplies. * Coordinate the supply of different panels and suppliers for maintaining levels for production and technical, and maintaining the inventory of use of them. * Coordinate and ensure the stock of cathodic panels required for the production and technical tests. * Comply 100% with assigned audits. * Supervise the correct follow\-up to the application processes, detecting areas of opportunity for training Application Technicians. * Complete the certification of skills, own and of the whole team, according to the matrix established by the department. * Support the Applications Manager in meeting the department's monthly and annual budget. * Ensure continuous improvement by generating ideas and projects for downtime reduction, waste reduction, cycle time reduction, productivity increase, sample flow and training. **Qualifications** * Technical or Engineering * Minimum 4 years of experience painting related work, including automatic and manual equipment. * Microsoft Office. * Availability to rotate shifts. * Personnel management. **About us:** **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD™** Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
