Job Summary: Solistica is seeking a Yard Operator to manage unit arrivals and departures, administer yard operations, coordinate logistics activities, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. We are a company offering comprehensive 3PL logistics solutions—from Latin America to the world. **Yard Operator** **Requirements to Apply:** * Completed high school diploma or technical degree in logistics, administration, or related field. * 1–2 years of experience in yard operations, traffic, logistics operations, dock operations, or unit control. * Experience managing carriers, drivers, and yard drivers. * Experience with check‑in/check‑out procedures, door scheduling, and trailer handling. * Experience with TMS/YMS (preferred). * Knowledge of trailer types, basic documentation, and loading/unloading processes. * Basic–intermediate Excel skills (data entry, filters, reporting). * Knowledge of safety regulations applicable within the yard and logistics operations. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Manage unit arrivals and departures**: access control, door assignment, monitoring of arrivals and departures to ensure continuous flow. * **Administer unit placement and movement within the yard** (tractors, trailers, empty and loaded containers), ensuring order, availability, and rotation. * **Coordinate with Operations, Dock, Security, and Carriers** to guarantee adherence to appointments, loading/unloading time windows, and equipment availability. * **Record and update unit status in systems (TMS/YMS)**: check‑in, check‑out, delays, cycle times, and wait times. * **Inspect physical conditions of trailers and units** (seals, doors, lights, tires, basic documentation). * **Address yard incidents**: units out of position, insufficient equipment, delays, safety anomalies, unassigned units. * **Prioritize movements based on operational needs** (urgent shipments, hot loads, containers, critical orders). * **Coordinate spotters/forklift operators/yard drivers** to ensure safe and efficient movements. * **Ensure compliance with safety regulations** within the yard and across the 3PL company. * **Generate yard control reports**: occupancy rates, on-site dwell times, trailer turnover, appointment adherence, yard management KPIs. **Benefits Offered:** * Competitive salary, statutory benefits, and additional benefits **Work Location:** 76247 Parque Industrial y Logístico Calamanda, Qro., Mexico and Carretera Querétaro \- Chichimequillas Km. 4\.5, 76260 Santiago de Querétaro, Qro., Mexico **Work Schedule:** Tuesday through Sunday, rotating shifts (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.) **Apply via this channel or email erydani.navarrete(arroba)solistica.com, attaching your updated CV.
